Hi Jack,
Thanks for the question. In fact, I am getting ready to update my website to add an instruction page.
And, this is the original Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope that will keep some women away but will attract some others. Your choice!
With Ole Time Woodsman you do not need to lather yourself with gobs of who knows what. Just a few drops on your hat bill and back of the hat will do the trick. It is helpful to put a few drops on a neck bandana or shirt collar. Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope actually interferes with a black fly's ability to locate your carbon dioxide flume that you emit when you breath.
I was in the woods today doing some firewood with a local cutter who did not have Fly Dope on. He was complaining that the bugs were flying up his nose and into his mouth! That, obviously, is where the highest concentration of carbon dioxide is located.
If you are out where sweat bees, deer flies, or horse flies are active, I usually put the bandana under my hat to hold it and let it fall down around the back of my neck.
Have a great trip,
Ken

Just took this camping this weekend, put some on a bandana just like when I was a kid. Not a bite! Thank you! |
